    Tours by Boat

On a hot summer day a trip by boat in the Furesø lake-system just 30 minutes drive north of Copenhagen is a pleasant experience. Hire a cano and do the paddling yourself or hop on board one of the sailing the Mølleå River, that runs from the Øresund Coastline to the Furesø Lake, a trip filled with beautiful scenery and small castles along the way. Going even further north to Arresø ( Arre Lake), you may find it worth a day to go on a trip . The tour starts by Arresødal and continues through the idyllic channel ending in Arre Lake where the country side can be seen from a new and exciting angle.

Viewing Copenhagen from the seaside is a must and if you're not a yacht owner or are about to wave the city goodbye from the top deck of the ferries to Norway and Bornholm, then a guided boat trip on Copenhagen's many is a great experience. The tours are conducted in both English and German. You can join the boats from a number of stops along the route, but the main terminal is located in the old sailor's haunt smack dab in the middle of town. Today's Nyhavn is still in active use as a port, and at the far end of the harbour's streets, down towards the main harbour, high speed hydrofoils still come and go all day long on their 45 minute trip to Swedish Malmö. On the other side of the pier you can book a sunset tour out on The Sound aboard one of the old ships anchoring there.

    Tours by Bus

The fastest way to see all of Copenhagen is to go on a guided bus tour. You can either focus on the city's lakes and channels, visit Copenhagen's most characteristic buildings and monuments, view the city from the lofty perch of an open-air double-decker bus or choose the all-encompassing tour, which covers the most important features of the city.
