KONGENS NYTORV

In the King's Square you will find the statue of Christian V. The oldest building in the square is over 300 years old and marks the beginning of Nyhavn.

NYHAVN

In the old days a sailor's quarter. Now a charming promenade with attractive old picturesque houses and small restaurants. A tour of the harbour with Canal Tours is a must. H.C. Andersen lived in no less than three places in Nyhavn, no. 20, no. 67 and in no. 18.


TIVOLI, Vesterbrogade 3

Tivoli is the world-famous garden and amusement park, located in the heart of Copenhagen. Here you will find a multitude of flowers, an amusement park, many restaurants and both indoor and outdoor music. All of this illuminated by thousands of lamps in different colours.

LITTLE MERMAID, Langelinie Waterfront

Built by King Christian IV, the Rosenborg Castle is in the middle of Kongens Have and contains ballrooms, halls, the Crown Jewels and the treasures of the Royal Family.

AMALIENBORG PALACE

Royal residence, guided tours and changing of guards takes place at noon every day.

CHRISTIANSBORG CASTLE, Prins Jorgens Gard 1

A massive granite castle, surrounded by canals. Until the fire of 1795 this was the Royal residence, here you will find: The Danish Parliament, Royal Reception Chambers and The Supreme Court.

FREDERIKSBORG CASTLE, Hillerod

A magnificent castle from the Renaissance which is situated in the town of Hillerod-45 minutes by train from Copenhagen. Frederiksborg Castle was founded by Christian IV.

Rundetaarn is an unique building, also by Christian IV in the heart of old Copenhagen.
